The last time I saw these people I was dressing in customised what they call vintage clothing these days? I was 17 superskinny and ran with the in crowd😀 now im fat over fifty with chemo curly short hair which is now grey. Im sure the people wont be still beautiful but who knows who might be there?😉. I cant even wear winkle pickers no more😃😃 can anyone help I dont really want to be running into Oliver Bonas at the train station. I cant be arsed to go to Brent Cross so I have New Look on my doorstep or somewhere like Hush that delivers quickly. Im already feeling anxious hence the delaying buying anything.

When is the event? And what kind of dress code is it? I know you don’t want to go to Brent Cross but they have an Anthtopology right by the red/blue carpark. You can be in and out without battling through all the people.
Anthropology might give you the vintage feel you are after and be a bit more interesting than Oliver Bonas

Even Kim Wilde is Alison Moyet now, and Alison Moyet was stylish and gorgeous then! Don't let that put you off. I've been away with a few women recently and I noticed how great the ones with a few extra pounds looked, in terms of looking younger, staying very slim is quite difficult after a certain age- so dress for who you are now. I don't have specific ideas on what to pick up at the last minute though, as I don't know what's currently available. I think Alison Moyet vibe would be ok- I still wear lots of black but good shapes.

So trousers long straight skirt from next/hush.. existing top...And if you order tomorrow express delivery then one hundred stars will deliver a kimono top...

I have had three 50ths on three consecutive weekends.

I’m a 12 but very short and short-waisted with big boobs so look a lot bigger. Fat Kate Moss to your Alison Moyet.

First one I wore black leather trousers, a black sequin t-shirt and a black velvet dinner jacket. This was my favourite.

Second one I wore a pink satin shirt and pink tailored trousers from the Jigsaw sale. Loved the colour but it felt quite formal which was fine for the occasion but I didn’t feel myself.

Third one I wore a satin maxi dress from Ghost, a leather jacket, and a boa for a giggle.

If you’re clubbing you’ll definitely want to wear trainers. Hopefully you’ve got a good pair. Then perhaps add a fabulous rock chic skirt Like this then t shirt and either denim or biker jacket.

Alternatively, again with trainers, have you got black jeans? Then you could add a fabulous jacket Like this with a black T or cami underneath

Another option would be a jumpsuit, trainers and great jewellery. Like this which is available from John Lewis so good next day delivery.
