Capsule wardrobe for work and travel

I am moving from a home based role to one where I will attend trade shows across the UK and abroad. The men in my team wear chinos, trainers and polo shirts, throwing on smarter shoes, shirt and jacket if they need to be more formal.
They all travel with a small case
I am 5'8, 10/12 with more boobs than I would like and as a 50 year old carry a bit more weight on my hips than is ideal.
Can anyone recommend a suitable alternative to chinos & shirts for me?
Wide leg trousers seem impractical for travelling on trains, Lifting luggage etc. Jeans are not comfortable.
Help! I am totally flummoxed

Oh and dresses just don't suit me, they look like a sack on me no matter how hard I try!
I am a trouser person, or short skirts and tights (not ideal for travel to hot countries)

In a very similar position so watching with interest.

I’ll probably go with the wide leg trousers as an option though. They seem like a good option.

I would take 1x navy pinstripe straight leg trousers, 1x sage satin slip skirt 1x white leather trainers, 1x smart white tshirt, 1x smart black tshirt, black cardigan, black blazer, low heeled black boots (maybe western style if I’m feeling fancy) mid size black handbag and lots of chucky silver and gold jewellery pieces to add some difference and interest. And a hoody, just in case. You should be able to mix and match to get a few different outfits from that. I’ve also assumed you are only away for 2-3 days - don’t forget your undies 🤣

Thanks @Gorseandheather, I had seen the nine pin trousers on SM so good to hear genuine feedback as I never trust online ads! I might brave a try of those. I have never really done blazers, but I can see that they may be the answer I need. So I might try that look out.

@Ineedanewsofa I am going to challenge myself to try out your recommendation- thanks for the undies reminder
