What can I wear with this skirt?

I’ve ordered a skirt and I absolutely love it. Was thinking I could wear it for a wedding in August but what too would go with it and be suitable? Also shoes too? The lady in the photo has a black cardigan but I don’t think that would be dressy enough and probably too hot in the summer. Thanks

An elegant white lacy top would look really nice with 3/4 length sleeves. Alternatively, any white top that was sophisticated looking would look lovely

This top is the wrong colour and pattern but the shape is right. I think something which is just long enough to cover the waistband is the right length and left loose over the waistband, not tucked in.

The black cardigan doesn't look right.

I disagree I would pick a more form fitting top. But if I did choose a looser one it would be plain white and show a bit of skin, maybe the shoulders or arms

I’d pair it with a wine coloured camisole for that kind of event.
