SB seems to be having a permanent sale. I know they were bought out a couple of years ago and sales have slumped but this long term sale seems peculiar. It's like one of those shops with 'everything must go' on the window for months

I've noticed that too, they literally only ever used to have 20% (or 25%?) off at black Friday. Now it seems like they've always got a discount on.

I read something about them re-branding away from the "luxe" end of the market. Possibly they're just on the way out?

Yes, I noticed this as well.

Their clothes have gotten shite. Their Power leggings aren't as good quality as they used to be. Their Athlete vests are all just vanity sized now so even the XS doesn't fit me any more.

I can definitely see them pivoting away from the high-end market. Fuck.

You are right. The quality has dropped terribly. Their old power leggings were fantastic. They are really poor quality now. The reviews reflect this.

Yep - I don't bother buying new SB any more, just get old stuff from Vinted and eBay.

To me it seems like a daft decision to go down market. They really did occupy a unique space in the sportswear market and had a loyal following - when I first got into it SB was like a cult!
Moving down market, they'll be competing for one-off custom in a massively over-crowded market place. But before they'd really captured a section of the market and were getting repeat and life-long customers.

It's a shame.
