Anyone else play guess the mumsnetter when you see a Roku bag?

Sat in M&S with DM (her birthday) and there is a stunning and stylish woman in the queue with a yellow bag (if you are on here and were wearing a grey swirly dress - you are my new style icon). I wondered which MN she was.
There is a lovely younger (than me) woman with a pink Roka backpack with a gorgeous baby boy wandering too.

That's what goes through my mind when I see one.
I wonder whether they got it in the draw or did they choose it .

There was a man in front of me in the queue at the airport recently that had one, yellow I think. I did think of the MN Roku craze and wondered if he'd bought it himself, it had been a gift from a MNetter relative or his DW had gone a bit overboard with Roku hunting, their house was full of them and he thought he might as well use it.

I did quite want a Roku bag, but was wary about buying one unseen (I know you can return them but I'm getting sick of spending money on delivery and returns and ending up with nothing) and I also have 2 other decent rucksacks so couldn't justify a third. And sadly they're both good quality so likely last for decades.

The doctor who came out to see my DM recently had a Roka backpack and said she'd got it in the lucky dip, I was dying to ask her if she was a MNer!

No but I do feel sorry for myself when I see them because I really wanted one a couple of years ago when they were fairly rare and now I don’t want one because everyone has one.

Perhaps this needs moved to style where the original threads were.

For those that missed it someone posted last year about the January lucky dip where you paid £25 I think but got a random back with a free delivery code.

It then got even bigger this year because ROKA terms were no exchanges but head to Mumsnet as people there would swop.

I did but last year, and happily swop this year.

I have neither style nor beauty but it makes a good step down from a big changing bag.

I’ve got one. I bought it in an achingly middle class shop. I love it but never thought it was anything to do with MN.
