Underwire swim suit for big boobs

ten2one · 17/03/2024 14:32

I'm about a size 10-12 but my boobs are big and saggy
I need a sensible swim suit that will keep both my bum and my boobs in while I wrestle my toddler in/around the pool.

Not actual wrestling, but I'm sure you know what I mean!

Or separate bra top thing (must have an underwire) and shorts would be perfect.
I can't shop in person so needs to be online.
I can't be dealing with ordering hundreds and returning 99 so hoped by asking on here someone might be able to point me in the right direction?

Bravissimo is what you need

Bravissimo. Not cheap but good for big boobs.

MrsMitford3 · 17/03/2024 14:41

Yep was coming on to say Bravissimo!

Just what you need!

When I had a larger chest I had a swimsuit from Miraclesuit which I ordered from American eBay. It has extra thick material to hold you in (though it doesn't sound like you need that) and an integrated, supportive underwire bra, not just underwires but a whole bra. As I remember the sizing was completely different to UK sizing and I had to search to find out what would be right.

Watch out, though, because there is another "Miraclesuit" around which is a UK thing and not the same thing at all.

Another option is that I believe Land's End does or did some underwired swimsuits, though I never bought one so can't vouch for the quality.

It's such a neglected area imo, manufacturers just don't want to raise costs by adding in underwiring.

Edit: this was the one I have. I certainly didn't pay that price, though! It's like wearing a bra with your swimsuit:

Bravissimo. But don’t buy before getting their help with the style and cup size. Either have an in-person fitting at one of their shops, or call them.

100% Bravissimo.

You can order multiple options from Bravissimo to try on and return the ones that don't fit. They make the returns easy!

The petra one from Speedo is good.

Bravissimo are very good, but I also have a couple of Tankinis from Boden which do as good a job. They are not underwired but the boob halterneck does a fab job of holding up my 34FF's.

Agree with Bravissimo, in addition try Zoggs.
