Brands similar to & other stories

Now I'm through 2 maternities I would love to update my wardrobe and love & Other Stories. Are there any other similar brands that I could try? I'm mid 30s, athletic build (but not athletic 😂😂) many thanks!

Cos and Arket are part of the same ‘family’ - and generally considered a slight upgrade on Stories. I guess it depends which aspect of its stock you lean towards most:

Massimo Dutti does cool classic daywear - and seems to be undergoing a revival.

American Vintage specialises in chic leisurewear.

Batsheva extends the quirky ruffles and romance.

Ganni always looks very similar to Stories, to me, but is hugely more expensive.

Goodhood Store is cool but not cheap.

You could also keep an eye on Collagerie - it’s great at picking out the best of what’s available across a wide range of brands.

If it’s the cost, I buy & other stories lots on Vinted - there’s loads of there. But if you just want ‘similar but different’ stuff then Arket would be my choice.
