Prom dress, natural fibres?!

Looking for a prom dress (or trouser suit) for dd. She’s 5’6, 34F, so probably not a plunging neckline, and definitely not strapless/backless. Main problem is that she has a skin condition and has to wear natural fibres 😱 Don’t mind spending £££ if we can find something gorgeous.

Any ideas about brands which might work for her would be great as well as specific items.

Thankyou

Silk is the obvious one. Monsoon used to do a lot of silk gowns, I don't know if they still do, but there are always loads on eBay and vinted. I got married in a Monsoon silk gown I got for £40 on eBay.

You might have to get it re-lined, depending on the lining fabric, but any seamstress could do that cheaply.

Have a look at Donald Stanley on Instagram - she makes some fairly simple dresses bespoke so you can have it made in any cloth you like, but might not have the wow factor.

Similarly look at Isolated Heroes - they might be able to do the same.

There's a few places that'll make bespoke so that's probably where I'd start!

Also, Heritage Clothing make some incredible dresses in cotton - might be worth a look?
