Hairdresser visit...

I am away from home and need to visit a hairdresser. The hairdresser has been recommended to me, however today when I did an initial visit, the hairdresser's own hair looked pretty bad.. now... do you think this is indicative of the service she provides or do you think she's maybe feeling like I have a bit of a hangover and I'm really struggling today.
She seemed very nice...

Most hairdressers I’ve been to have had pretty ‘overworked’ or scruffy hair. Some were slso ‘very nice’. I’ve never found it means anything.

Can you ask if she has an instagram page or a portfolio, seeing her previous work before you commit to a cut would be best, if you can.

Just an update and thanks oooscotland for replying. I did it and whilst I panicked after she'd finished thinking I had a slight blue rinse going on (she gave me highlights and toner on grey highlighted hair) but one day later its settled down and I'm really happy with it.
So you can't judge a book by its cover :-)
