Help me please find a black dress for short and round person. 34F size 14 5'4" budget about £50 feel frumpy and not comfortable in body atm.

Assume you are UK based. Have a look at Dorothy Perkins petite range. There are some black dresses which don't look frumpy at all.

I can't post a link but I bought the John Lewis (own brand) Ruched Cap sleeve dress at the end of last year for a funeral. I'm a similar height to you and wore with mid sized heels. It's extremely flattering on and good quality. Sorry, can't post a link. Don't be put off by photo.
