Gym leggings that make your legs look decent?

WildFlowerBees · 10/03/2024 18:21

I need some new leggings for the gym and for general wear, I'd like some that make the legs look a little more sculpted, mainly the inner thigh if that's at all possible!

Can anyone recommend any please?

Sweaty Betty power leggings are great. They are expensive but they last for years.

No idea, so following.

id like to find some with a V in the back, as that makes your bum look smaller and rounder but when I search I can only find the bum eating ones!

Are the Swetty Betty worth it the ridiculous price?

Absolutely, yes. I find them much, much cheaper than other leggings - they last so long that I don't replace them as often.

You don't need to buy them new, there are always loads on Vinted. And because they last so well, they're always in great condition even when they're second hand and a good few years old.

Sweaty Betty via vinted

I only buy the Sweaty Betty Power leggings now, they are the best. They regularly have them both new with tags and used on Vinted, and they have sale items on the main store. I've never paid full price for them but they are worth the full price I think.

I love the SB power leggings. I did try a few cheaper alternatives but do go back to the power leggings. Never get them full price.. there's always a code and sign up to Sweaty Betty for 25% off. Sales are excellent too

Nike, the only ones that don't fall down around the waist. They are also long.

They don't have the sculpting part, though (or at least not the ones I buy...I have DriFit for gym and the warm ones for running).

They also wash really well.

Second vote for nike, very nearly perfect, mine are plain black, hold me in and elongate.

Motherrr · 11/03/2024 22:34

Just got some from girlfriend collective- not for the gym, for general 'mumming' but they are sporty type and nice and thick, good quality with lots of good reviews!

WelcomeMarchwithwintrywind · 11/03/2024 23:17

M&S has 3 styles of Girlfriend Collective leggings in the sale, priced £20 - £38. Only useful if you like shades of green, though.

I went to a Sweat Betty clearance event and came back with a pair of Nike leggings. Someone must have accidentally returned them to Sweaty Betty. They are the best leggings I've had and now I'm converted (sorry Sweaty Betty!)

TwistedCable · 11/03/2024 23:30

Nike pros are the best by a mile

AllICanDoIsTry · 11/03/2024 23:31

I love mine from h and m, i live in them and have 3 pairs!

Don’t buy them full price, you’ll likely get them in the sale for £40ish. There are also Facebook groups where you can buy preloved, plus general consensus seems to be the newer leggings are much worse quality than they used to be since they changed manufacturers.

WildFlowerBees · 13/03/2024 16:44

I bought some SB power leggings in the sale, weird colour but never mind and some Nike.

The SB have good compression and are comfortable but the Nike are super soft and lovely. Thank you to pp who suggested Nike also.
