Any good suggestions for smart-casual trousers suitable for a work scenario?

Hello, I am mostly at home in casual clothes but every so often I do some work where I am very much on show for a day at a time. Think presenting or demonstrating.

If these were 'smart' occasions it would be easy as I would just whip out something from my collection of trusty office wrap dresses - Oh pre-Covid days, how I miss you! But the note I need to hit is smart-casual, so I tend to go down the blouse, jacket and trousers route. I had a useful pair of straight-leg navy cotton trousers that have since become too faded. Since then I have tried dark-navy skinny jeans, but I am not sure they hit quite the right note. The audience will be in casual clothes.

I need to be able to move around and bend/reach, so whatever I wear needs to be fairly high waisted and have a bit of 'give' to it.

I am size 14 and a pear shape, so am ample on the hips. But also tall, with good legs.

Any links or suggestions please? Happy to pay up to about £80, or £100 for a really standout pair of trews.

Forgot to add, I haven't really bought new clothes (apart from the very basics) for years as I have been buying on Ebay for environmental reasons. So I am a bit out of touch with brands etc.

I haven’t tried them on yet but recently ordered a couple of pairs of those Halara trousers for work…they arrived and the quality looks ok. Will report back when I get round to trying them on!
