Should I colour my hair?

I am 50, natural colour in these pics. Have posted in the past about this but could never decide. It has grown quite a bit in past year and this is it dried naturally. It is naturally a bit frizzy but I don't mind, our taps are making it a bit dry so I usually use a leave in kerastase cream.

I have tried to use photo's in natural, flat daylight. I love the colour at the ends but the root area always feels darker and recently a few sprigs of grey/white are coming in. When not in natural light it looks like the colour of mud Shock

If you would have it highlighted or whatnot, what would you chose? I don't like strip highlights and would prefer it to look natural. I don't know whether this is an ash or a caramel tone, it has darkened over the years.

I think it's a lovely colour as it is. Don't change it.

Your hair is lovely

No don’t do it… you’ll never get it back to that original colour and it’s gorgeous

I think it looks lovely as it is.

I’d leave it unless you’re desperate for a change. It looks like type of shade that will allow you to very easily transition to natural grey as more come through. I have dark hair and have been on a treadmill of keeping up with the roots for ages, avoid it if you can!

Thanks! I thought you'd all tell me to bleach it and cut it off Grin

I don't like how dull it looks, but it peps up in summer a good bit. I made 2 appointments last year (well, had the skin tests) but couldn't take the plunge. I am aware that it would damage the lengths considerably as my hair is fine and frizzy.

Would highlighting change the colour of regrowth? I didn't know that.

No, you look beautiful and I’d actually like to give you a hug for doubting yourself 😁

Thank you, that is very sweet :)
