Allsaints leather jacket - advice from petite people please!

Birthday coming up and I'm thinking of finally investing in an allsaints leather jacket.

I'm tiny though - 4ft 11, however I have big boobs & usually wear a 14 on top! I usually buy jackets from petite ranges as the sleeves often end up being too long.

Can anyone tell me what the sizing is like on these? I'm planning to try a few on but will probably need to order them online. Are there any particular styles that might fit a shortie better than others?

Im 5”1 and wear a 10. It’s quite long in the sleeves but I just try and style it as oversize.

Would it be worth seeing if you can get sleeves professionally altered ?

No advice but wondering why people use the french word (petite) instead of the English, small?

Yes I could maybe get the sleeves shortened so will look for ones with no zips on the cuffs!

I've got a black biker style one which came up small. I'm shorter than you and the sleeves are only very slightly too long.

Because that's how all the clothes manufacturers describe women who are under 5' 3 or so.

I'm thinking of one of the slightly cropped ones such as the Papin. Hopefully they might then be a normal length on me

Mine is the Vela. They are really nice quality.
I was in an alterations place today and there were prices on the list for leather alterations, so looks like you could get it altered if needed.
