Wedding outfit, cold weather - coat?!

We’re going to a wedding in 2 weeks and the forecast is 4-8c and the venue is on a mountain so probably going to feel colder/windy.

I’ve bought this dress. The material is nice and thick but I’m stressing a bit about my shoulders/arms being freezing. I could use a shawl but they never really keep me very warm. Do I just wear a coat until we get to the venue then steal DH’s jacket all day/night or try to find something to wear?

First time doing a cold weather wedding so no idea what women wear!

I’ve started panicking and looking at long sleeve maxi dresses 😂

Lovely dress but I would have gone for a nice winter dress with maybe a fur coat.

Could you get a fur coat anyway? A short jacket?

That’s exactly what I’m thinking now. I bought it hoping for a sunny, mild, spring day but that was not to be!

I’ve just ordered a long navy, lace top dress with 2/3 length sleeves. Hoping that will do the trick.

Thankfully I have another event in the summer that the original dress will work well for.
