Following OP... you've described my face perfectly. I'm not pale as such (am foreign) but the salowness is definitely there, as well as everything else:(....

Eborian seems to be recommended on MN but I'm not sure it will suit my skin?

I'd maybe focus on skincare, do you use Vitamin C?

Nars tinted moisturiser or Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue are good for my very spot prone skin (you're same age as me).

I use the Garnier BB cream....seems to do a decent job.

I've recently treated myself to some Jones Road What The Foundation and it's lovely. I usually wear tinted moisturiser (Bare Minerals) but this is nicer. It's lightweight and doesn't clump in lines and imperfections. It gives a lovely dewy coverage.
It's an investment but a very nice one 😊

Trinny BFF is very nice, gives a sheer coverage so it's your skin but better! I tried Erborian but the shades are limited and though I liked it otherwise the colours didn't work for me.

I use Lumene instant glow fresh skin tint primarily, or Lumene's instant glow beauty serum most days.

If I feel I need a bit more coverage, Estee Lauder has a daywear sheer tint moisturiser that covers a bit more (comes out green, but works!)

I use the Erborian CC red correct for my very pale but red combination skin and it’s really good. Doesn’t make me breakout in spots although the retinol keeps those at bay anyway.

Use a bb cream.. garnier skin active is so good

I have actually just bought this. The BB crème. It sits really nicely on my skin. The perfect balance of natural, without shine.

How do you use retinol?

I’ve also just bought Eborian CC cream after seeing it recommended everywhere and really like it. I also tried the Chanel one which I’d seen recommended a lot and it showed every pore on my skin, it looked awful! Laura Mercier is my other go to which I love.

No, don't use Vit C - what would you recommend?

I use the Erborian cc cream and I love it. I have combination skin and it feels so lovely and looks great, can’t fault it! They often have deals on the Erborian website or even on Amazon.

How do you use retinol?

I apply it as a serum about 3 times a week after washing my face at night. You need to start on a low percentage, maybe 0.1 or 0.2% and see how you go with it.

Yoyoyo1 · 10/03/2024 08:40

Thank you. Where can you get it from?
