I'm a mum and wearing even jeans feels like dressing up!

Anyone else?

I spend my life in leggings and a sweatshirt with trainers for the school run.

How do I get out of the feeling that jeans are for "going out out"?!

Doesn't help I live in an area where everyone just wears joggers etc...

I love fashion and clothes but I'm stuck in a bit of a funk.

No advice but I am completely the same. I've always been a bit scruffy so not too bothered about it really 🤷‍♀️

I think in small steps is the answer. I started shopping vinted for the things I wanted, I buy a couple of bits each week (not expensive). Jeans, nice jumpers. I bought a bunch of vest tops from primark for layering. A good pair of boots and some trainers. Threw out all the stuff in my wardrobe I didn’t like, ruthlessly! I’m still a loooong way off not being a scruff but I’m so much further on than I was 🙂
