In my 30s, April wedding, what do I wear?

never been to a spring wedding, what’s in fashion? What do I wear? Will it be cold? Do I have to wear long sleeve? So many questions!

Following with interest - I’ve also been invited to a wedding in ( early) April. I’m feeling really uncertain about what to wear. Where I am, it could be snowing! Likely to be cold. Sorry OP, I have no answers!

Most women will probably be wearing a midi dress, maybe with a short sleeve, in florals or bright colours with heels (low or block are fine). Blazer over it if you think you'll be chilly, and a smart coat on top for when you're outside. I doubt it'll be cold inside, depending on the venue, and most weddings get hot after dinner so I wouldn't wear long sleeves for that reason.

Impossible to know what the weather will be like this far in advance, presuming you are in the UK it could be snowing, a heatwave or anything in between!

Is the wedding indoors? If so then it's not really much of an issue.

If you can tell us a bit more about the venue/location you'll probably get some better tips, ie a city centre wedding in a super modern hotel requires a different outfit to a festival-themed wedding in a field.

Thank you for the replies, I will have a look at some floral dresses. The wedding is in the UK and it’s a beautiful barn venue but think some bits will be outside like reception

Could you give a little more info so we can help please? What's your budget roughly? What size/height. What's your colouring? and what's your normal style? What do you like/dislike....Also likely places/events you could use outfit again..just to be on the green side 😀

That would be great thank you. Budget is roughly £50 but can stretch to £100 if it’s a struggle to find anything for that. I’m a size 8/10 and 5 foot 5, quite fair with blonde hair. I don’t have any dislikes tbh other than high neck stuff! And nothing that is low cut as I have no boobs. Thank you!
