Stylish bag for a 22yr old

Hi there, I'd like to buy my niece a nice stylish bag for her birthday but I have no idea what girls at this age are into at the moment. My budget is around £200 and can't go a lot higher than that.
Her style is relaxed (I think?), not really preppy at all.
I'd appreciate any pointers, thanks.

Can you not just ask her? It's a lot of money to spend on something so personal if she doesn't like it or doesn't need/want a £200 bag!

DD is 22 and she likes Kate Spade bags.

It was meant to be a surprise as she doesn't live in the uk and we're visiting soon. I can ask her mum but she'll blab, I know her.
I know her style, she is more like a tattoo, piercing and flare trousers kind of girl than polished and preppy if that makes sense but is into fashion as any girl that age is.

I can post some pictures (with obscured face , obvs) if that helps.

I was thinking Bimba Y Lola but no idea if that's for young girls as I used to see lots of "yummy mummy" types with those a few years back.

I just bought a mulberry mini softee in mulberry for £250 in the most beautiful blue. They did red and green at that price too.

I also bought the tan model which was £395 so over your budget but the other colours are £250 and this was a 1.25K bag HTH

Longchamp have nice cross body bags circa £250.

Look at AllSaints, they do beautiful leather bags for £100-200. On trend bags seem to be short cross body or shoulder bags like the sort we wore out in the late 90’s!

One thing to think about is what she usually carries in her bag. Particualry if she's just starting university or work she might well take a laptop everywhere, so she'll need space for that.

Another thing- I gave my dd a Mulberry bag for a special present. She used it regularly for 5 years, then because her circumstances changed she sold it and bought a different one. Because she had kept all the packaging, she got an amazing price for it. So win/win!!

Yes, I had at the All Saints website and was really tempted myself. And if I could see the future I'd have kept all my 90s bags, I had tons of good stuff
