What would you put me in for a wedding.... Based on my description?

I am completely lost clothing wise since having my children. My body has changed so much and I now live in leggings and hoodies.
So I am looking for inspiration, I would love to know how you would dress me.

Wedding is in June. Church followed by country hotel.
I am 5 ft 5
Size 12 but slowly losing weight.
34c bust
Pear shaped - 2 c-sections has left me with a very wobbly overhang.
Legs are ok.
Quite short bodied- basically slimish to the bottom of my ribcage, tummy area is wrecked, ok from mid thigh down.

Blonde shoulder length hair, hazel eyes, medium skin tone. Late 30s.
Any ideas would be so appreciated. There will be some people at the wedding that I haven't seen in years after a falling out so I need to look GOOD but wedding appropriate.

I'm a wobbly stomach person with decent legs - I find a dress with a swingy skirt where the skirt flares slightly above the waistline and goes down to just above my knees is always a good look. It does look like everything is bloody midi-dresses at the moment so not sure where you'll find one. Boden used to do quite a lot of nice ones, maybe worth looking for second hand.

Oh, I am a guest. Not the bride.
Can manage a mid heal as long as they are not too strappy and my foot is held in properly.
Need to be able to chase my 2 year old if needed.

As no budget suggested yet, maybe this, done up at neck but without the belt:

(Have a look at the rest of the site, though - by way of inspiration.)

A boat neck or Bardot neck is flattering for a pear. It balances out your proportions. I’d go for a fit and flare style so it skims your tummy area. If you are self conscious still you can wear Spanx for a smoother silhouette.

What colours do you feel good in?

With no budget or indication of what sort of thing you might like, it's very difficult to suggest anything.

Alémais has beautiful dresses.

I'm the same height as you and a 14. I'm thinking of this dress for a wedding.

Cabbages and Roses

I purposely didn't give preferences or budget as I wanted advice based entirely on my body shape/type. I don't think that my preferences do me any favours anymore unfortunately.

I totally get the “help I’m a different shape” feeling, but your proportions sound quite easy to dress to me. Fitted to the waist and then a bit of flow will suit you and is fairly easy to find.

I am not in to some of the less well known brands and styles that pop up on this board!

As you have good legs, don’t be afraid to get them out. Midis are everywhere but avoidable if you want to.

I think this is cute. Not super short, or super low cut, to help you with running around after little one! Floaty and ditsy are everywhere, I reckon a bold colour is what you need! https://www.monsoon.co.uk/stephanie-embellished-dress-blue-54286632.html
