What do teens wear to weddings?

I have a wedding coming up at Easter. I have no idea what to put my boys (14 and 12) in.

I have found that people are slightly more casual generally at weddings. But probably not the joggers and t shirts which is all they have worn since Covid....

Any good advice on what a teen would wear to a fairly standardly formal wedding? Thank you.

A shirt, suit and tie is what my son would go in.

Mine has always worn a suit - they are pretty cheap in teen sizes on ebay/Vinted

Chinos, open neck shirt. I haven't seen teens in suits since pre covid. Latest wedding in London a few weeks ago my 16 year old wore navy chinos, baby blue grandad collar linen shirt. Younger lad had a light cotton structured top and grey combats, most work the men and younger guests were in smart casual.

I would definitely say smart casual trousers, a shirt and blazer even if you don’t want them in suits.

Don’t they wear clothes??! Sorry I’m not helpful 😅 idk I’m not a pro on teens only have one who’s only just 13

Trousers, open ne k short and a waist oat would be fine.

I'd go:

Navy Chinos, shirt and shoes

Shit can be a patterned or plain, long or short sleeved. "Loud shirts" seem the in thing but not large gaudy Hawaiian but a small ditsy floral or other small pattern is nice

Jacket or blazer optional, tie optional.

Shoes really not trainers

Neatly trimmed hair

Belt

A suit.

We need to be teaching our children appropriateness of occasions. They can't go round wearing joggers all the time to everything.

Zara cords and a soft linen shirt in a pastel colour, box fresh white trainers is what mine have word to the last two weddings, with a soft navy blazer. If they are matching I think it helps in some way!
