Crossbody bag for travel

I want a crossbody bag for walking around the streets. Nothing big but something secure for walking around the streets of a European capital city, known for its pickpockets.
I'm quite liking the idea of an orange bag. Budget of around £100.

I have the exact travelon bag in purple linked above, and it’s excellent. I’ve taken it on several international trips, I’m not sure if it is fully waterproof but it is definitely very water resistant. It’s also got lots of pockets, so easy to divide up your belongings so that they are easily accessible, but far more difficult for anyone to reach in and take anything. It’s a definite recommendation from me!

There are thousands out there! I went to TK Max got a nice Raldley and another colour slightly bigger. Make sure you check they are long enough straps.

Thanks for all these wonderful suggestions. I was looking more down the leather route thank the canvas route but leather may be out of my budget. I'll take a look at TK Maxx. The bag pictured is the sort of thing I had in mind.

@wondabar The Leather Store was recommended on here awhile ago and I bought a Rose model tote bag that I wear as a crossbody bag. I think it’s now called Pippa. They also have dedicated crossbody bags as well.

Kipling Alvar is what I use - I can fit all of our passports, personal medication, purse, keys, tissues etc and I like the adjustable fabric strap and multiple internal pockets. Don’t know if it comes in orange though.

Did nothing come up when you googled?

Wow

I've just got a MiaTui cross body bag (the Emma Sling in my case but there are different, bigger styles!). I love all the features of them - especially the zipped compartment on the back to keep valuables like a purse/phone. Also, they are ones in turquoise which is a) lovely and b) practical because you can see everything inside.

Kipling bags on Vinted or EBay

I love Kipling bags, they have loads of different styles and colours 😊

I have many kipling bags and the uniqlo cross body mini. They are both great for travelling. Very roomy and light. I actually have the corduroy orange.

I used my Uniqlo bag last year for city breaks

This year I'm using the more waterproof Paddington bag by ROKA

EverlastingStar · 27/02/2024 12:00

I use my leather crossbody mainly for evenings because it doesn't fit a water bottle like my Uniqlo or Paddington
