What’s your best lip liner?

I found them really hard to apply, and they don’t kind of stick to the lip skin, or last very long I want one, that’s soft enough, so you don’t have to press really hard and also one that lasts

I like Urban Decay ones - soft but hard wearing I find. Charlotte Tilbury ones are nice too.

EverlastingStar · 26/02/2024 22:03

I use a Boots No 7 one which lasts fine on me

Littleguggi · 26/02/2024 22:21

I find applying lipstick with a fine brush means you don't need a lip liner, and if you blot it off after it doesn't bleed!

handskneesandbumpsadaisy · 26/02/2024 22:52

I find the NYX ones really good. Go on well, don't bleed and last most of the day.

RosyappleA · 26/02/2024 23:08

I like Charlotte tilbury for softness. A Burberry one I have lasts ages and soft.

greeneggsandhamhocks · 27/02/2024 00:34

I quite like the Urban Decay colourless one (Ozone). i apply a rough smear of lipstick and work it around the edges of my mouth with the liner so it helps me get a nice slightly blurry edge, which I prefer to a sharp line.

WhereAreWeNow · 27/02/2024 07:10

I like Barry M but it's not very soft. Charlotte Tilbury is soft so it goes on nicely but the downside is that it needs sharpening constantly so it doesn't last long.

WhereAreWeNow · 27/02/2024 07:11

Look for gel liners. They are a softer formulation.

I love rimmel, I find them really long lasting and soft enough to use without hurting.

Rina66 · 27/02/2024 07:45

Huda are really good, easy to apply and long lasting.

I second huda. They go on really easily.

FigaroHoHo · 27/02/2024 09:04

I’m forever buying ones that look a good nude colour in store and tested on my hand but they all tend to look either gingery or too pink on my face! Drives me mad!

I like NYX formula though.

I have a Rimmel one, a traditional wooden pencil one, not automatic and it's the one I use the most. Ms Mauve I think it's called. Soft but not so soft that it breaks and smudges everywhere. The colour is perfect too.

Darklane · 27/02/2024 20:46

I like the Revlon one or the Rimmel. I prefer the wind up ones you don’t need to sharpen.

BusterGonad · 28/02/2024 02:22

Yes, I have the No7 automatic one, in the pink shade.

PrairieDawn101 · 28/02/2024 05:07

Bare MInerals or Anastasia Beverly HIlls. Always use the ABH lip primer first, its been game changing for me.

NowWhatUsernameShallIHave · 28/02/2024 09:34

Try the Nyx suede ones

morphes are quite good not too creamy

charlotte tilburys are soft but then they set
