Do people turn up jeans these days?

I got a pair of lovely maternity jeans from a clothes library. They're too long and the library did say I can hem them if I leave the extra material but that's a hassle 😂

Just wondering if I'd look like a know turning them up? They're bootcut btw

I'm not sure that you can easily turn up bootcut because of the slight 'flare'.
Hopefully someone with better sewing skills will know.

Could you use that iron on thing, apologies can’t remember the name, but it’s so easy to use. Fold your jeans to correct length, then you iron it in- job done.

Wonder web is the iron in stuff and it’s great! Easier to do, no damage to the fabric, and removable if you change your mind. Otherwise you can roll them.

OP
If you feel comfy turning them up, do it.

I always have a turn up but not with boot cut, don't think it would work

TastyLikeARaindrop · 26/02/2024 16:09

I think you will need to turn them under to hem/wonderweb.
