I'm fifty, with thick curly hair. I'm very lucky in that it looks good long or short, and it grows quickly. I'm currently growing it out but it is at that annoying phase where it isn't long enough to tie up, but its too long to not "do" anything with. Oftentimes I think it just looks a bit frumpy.
So I'll be going to the hairdresser to get the layers lightened up in a couple of weeks and put some shape on it, and I have been seriously considering a nape undercut. So you wouldn't see it all the time, but if I clipped the top up, you would.
If you had this, what were the pro's and cons? Does it scream midlife crisis? I don't colour my hair at all - It isn't massively grey anyway, and I just plan on going with the colour change as it happens. I'll be asking my hairdressers advice as well.
I am overweight, but I have a nice heart shaped face and although I don't have the figure or budget for high fashion, I like clothes and I have a good personal style which is quite casual.
