Could you help style this type of op?

Hi, this is for a bar date. I'm very conscious about my stomach. This is see thru.

I was thinking a black body underneath and some yoga style trousers and ankle boots? Any ideas on whether this would work? Same for nail colours, makeup etc?

Hiya, you havnt mentioned your hair, skin eyes coloring. This is a strong colour and against the colour black its an overpowering look. You need something soft and romantic for a date. Have another think on this.
If your dead set on the top, soften it up with jeans and black shoes black bagl

I would avoid black. It will be too big a contrast.

If anything I'd do nice jeans and a white bodysuit.
Definitely not yoga style pants.

Do you have a blazer or cute jacket for over top?

Nails go pale pink or lilac, or French.

Makeup depends on colouring? If you're white you need a nude lip, stronger eye, and a good dash of blush so you don't look washed out.

Ideas and what different colouring looks like. I prefer darker skin with the black and fluorescent, and lighter with the florescent and jeans.

This makeup is bright but not overpowering.

I would use the lilac skirt colour as the accent for nails.

@Lovelyyoux sorry! I'm dark skinned, dark hair, dark eyes. Much darker than those pictures @Josette77 (think Oti Mabuse) but I like your idea about softening my look. I could get a white bodysuit too.

I havent worn jeans in a while because I've felt quite big so they felt tight so those yoga style trousers have been my go to on a daily basis with a tighter top (where they are tighter at the thigh then flow down).

@Josette77 if jeans, I tend to have darker wide leg or straight leg. I just don't want to look massive

@LulaBe I'm going to be completely honest. I am so relieved you are dark skinned because I could not find any pics of a pale white woman rocking that colour.

I would wear it with dark white legged jeans. With your skin tone a black or white body suit would look amazing.

@Josette77 I'm a size 16/18 though, white jeans sounds like ill end up looking humongous!

I think lime green and black looks amazing. I have pale olive skin and black hair. I have had two acid/lime green tops that always got compliments when I wore them.

Hi Lula, So you a beautiful black woman.
Right you can rock these colours and comfortable leggings not problem.
Just make sure your make up is not overly done, keep it neutral and expensive.
Jewelry keep it sophisticated and modern and with an understated black bag.
A simple black shawl or cardi thrown over your shoulders think cos.
You should be good to go.
