Saturday night theatre outfit

So we are off on a little date to the theatre this weekend, its in the next town to us so not the West End or anything!
But we will probably go for some drinks later after the show,
What do I wear !!? What do people wear to the theatre these days !??

In London, anything you like. If a regional theatre, I would say anything from dressy to smart casual. But I think it also depends on the show. Opera and ballet tend to be dressier, especially outlet side London, imo. What are you seeing and where?
