Leggings with pockets

I’m looking for recommendations for leggings with pockets/a pocket for your phone that don’t slip/fall down. I know this is very dependant on body shape and things but I’ve tried a couple of supermarket brands and they’re not great. I have thought about trying sweaty Betty but they’re so expensive and you can’t really tell if they’re going to slip when only trying them on for a short time.

I've also got Uniqlo ones and Fabletics ones (bought on Vinted) and they're both nice too.

I think the staying up thing is a body shape thing. I've got a big bum/hips so nothing is likely to fall down.

I have the M & S Goodmoves, I really like them. Internal tie waist, back pocket and leg pocket for phone.

If you can find older Tikiboo's on Vinted they're really good. Their new stuff has gone downhill and got too expensive now

Other than that sweaty betty are worth the money! And usually there is some form of sale on (although rarely on the blacks)

Thanks so much for all the suggestions! Lots of different ones to look at. I have had a look on vinted for sweaty Betty. Even there they are about £40-50.

Tikiboo & they always have sales on. I run in their leggings and shorts, with my phone in the pockets, as well as energy gels, snacks etc and they don't fall down.

Also montirex are Brill and have pockets. They don't move.

I find BAM leggings brilliant - I hate the shiny manmade fabric Sweaty Betty, Goodmove, etc use. I don't actually have these ones with pocket as I have a running belt, I prefer to use, but I have the same leggings without and love them.

(Personally I don't love the Llama Leisure designs and they also look shiny / plasticky

It's worth investing in Sweaty Betty or Fabletics. They don't shrink, get baggy, bobble, lose shape or colour and are completely opaque. I've had some for several years that have been washed and tumble-dried over and over again. You can get them for a reasonable price second-hand on eBay or Vinted- they will look like new.

I recently got some from Snag that have pockets and a very secure waist that doesn't roll down. Also really like decathlon ones and they usually have a pocket. Bought some Lulamon ones second hand and not sure what all the fuss is about with these.

I have some "running tights" from h & m which have a rectangular pocket at the back of the waistband which fits my phone, they have a drawstring cord too, so they stay put! Good value at £27.99

IamaRevenant · 24/02/2024 18:15

I have various brands (none well known I don't think) but all with pockets and all from Amazon. I also don't like the shiny material so usually go for softer/jersey type material. There's loads of choice and they tend to be much cheaper than high street or higher end branded stuff but better quality than Primark/supermarket etc. Make sure you read the reviews and any relevant questions and answers. I've got loads of pairs (basically live in them!) and have yet to get a bad pair.

i like the look of llama leisure ones. only thing that puts me off slightly is the sizing, in that its such a wide range - so i'm 14/16 and their size i would buy is 14-20. no way am i a 20 though. surely they just fall down?

They dont

Im a 8 in leggings, no way would I want a 6 so I get the 8 - 14 and nope they dont fall down or sag

Try the 8-14 as well as the 14 -20 , I think its the legs that make the biggest difference ( my legs are skinny )
