Footwear with wide leg trousers

Other than trainers what do you wear on your feet with wide leg trousers? Obviously in the summer flip flop type of things but in the winter? I’ve bought some wide leg cargos from Next and I’m a bit stumped!

Chunky ankle boots

Pointy flats, I think a balance is needed with wide leg trousers.

Docs or Chelsea boots

Depends on the trouser TBH. For cargo type ones, I wear something like vans and converse. I also have some chunky heeled Chelsea boots that would work.

I have some wide legged jeans and smarter trousers. With them I wear heeled ankle boots.
