Hi stylish people, greetings from someone who isn't 😂

My son has Xmas and birthday money burning a hole in his pocket and he wants clothes. He loves labels and I usually find things on vinted/ Facebook for him but would like to take him to London for a look and try on and maybe one or two new items. He likes labels which I think are a bit crap tbh but I want to have a lovely day with him so am trying to be zen.

He likes; Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Evisu, Carharrt, North Face etc etc (his style is best described as chicken shop boy 😬)

If I took him to somewhere like Harrods or selfridges would that be a nice experience? As someone dressed almost exclusively in non label charity shop finds this is hard for me, but we are in desperate need of a day out together and I've farmed off the other kids to achieve it so hoping he feel 'drippy' and it's a fun day out with possibly one spenny item.

Any ideas?!! A road with lots of little shops or a big store? I'm not too far from London but only moved here a couple of years ago and just no clue on this stuff.

Have you considered going to an outlet centre like Bicester Village? They have all those brands but heavily discounted so he'll get more for his money!

I was going to say the same and go to Bicester.
if you want London the selfridges is better for street wear and has a skate park inside where the more affordable stuff is.
then I would say soho for that type of stuff. Carnaby street and the surrounding streets.
id research prices first so its not a complete shock as to how much he can buy even with a couple of hundred £ it might not be that much.

Carnaby st could be good

You are all so clever! Bicester! It's about 1hr15 away but we have engineering on our train line so it was going to be that long to anywhere in London tomorrow anyway- THANK YOU! Excited!

(@howdisappointingwasthat My sister calls my son a chicken shop boy... not sure where from..?! 😂😂 a comedian- I'll ask her- it's stuck for our nephews and sons as they all share a particular aesthetique which is grey, black, and branded- 6 chicken shop boys!)
