What works for getting rid of blackheads?

I've had blackheads on my nose for a long time that I haven't been able to clear. So far I've tried facial steaming, clearasil wash and I've also tried to squeeze them (which is painful and doesn't work for me). What would you recommend for getting rid of them?

I used to like the biore nose strips. Try steaming your face first then applying.

Are they definitely blackheads or are they maybe sebaceous filaments? Either way I would use salicylic acid a few times a week. I like the nip and fab pads.

I use glycolic acid and niacinamide serum before moisturiser, alternating.
Clay mask when I remember. Cleared up mine.
