I normally use Clinique even better clinical serum foundation, as I find so many others just dry my face out. But it's now £32 which seems a lot (although does last ages so maybe I should just suck it up!!) but are there any other foundations that are more that skin care element than foundation?

My absolute favourite skincare/serum foundation is Chanel Sublimage l’essence de Teint but it is currently £130 for 40ml. 🤯 It is of course not a miracle product - so more fool me!

In an attempt to be slightly more helpful….I also love Bourjois Healthy Mix liquid (£12.99 from Superdrug). Its not too ‘powdery’ and has always seemed to me to have some skincare benefits, Mine is quite old (I’m getting on a bit so I only use a drop to try and avoid creasing - and the bottle is huge), but it hasn’t oxidised or gone off and still goes on well. I don’t wear foundation every day so I find it annoying when they go off quickly!

I discovered Phoera foundation on Amazon and it’s great, not sure if it has skincare but goes on well over my elemis moisturiser , it’s only about 7 quid and I’ve paid £££ in the past and the foundations I’ve paid a lot for aren’t as good as this. Read the reviews. A make up artist told my niece about it and she told me. Apparently it does good selfies according to my neice
