Supportive, comfy tights but not too 'firm'. Does that make sense?!

Need new black tights which are supportive but not too firm; IBS means I can't deal with pressure on my tummy but I need something to smooth it over. Basically I need a pair which are really comfy without cutting in or falling down. I appreciate this is asking the world.

Currently have some shaping ones from Next but they're not comfy and make bloating worse by the end of the day. I can't stand Snag's marketing so won't buy from them.

Any suggestions? TIA.

M&S Autograph velvet touch opaque 80'deniers are not a bad alternative to snag - buy them when on sparks discount

I've been tempted by some Amazon ones recently but have not purchased yet

Apparntmeh "better tights"
Are good

Have you thought about maternity tights for bloating?

Shaking or control are terrible

I buy M&S body sensor opaque 30 den. I’m a bit over size 12, apple shape. Technically I’m size M for tights but bought Large and it’s way better.
I wouldn’t go for more den , maybe 40 but not sure, Autograph 80 den will be too firm. I personally moved to Body sensor range for more comfort.

I tried Better tights and they are good but I think I ordered a size up. Similar to Snag.

M &S bodyshaper are good. The nearly black is a better colour than black.

Pretty Polly Curve are quite good at smoothing without crushing everything.

See comment in my OP about Snag...

Thanks everyone for all the other suggestions. I'm going to check them out. Also great point re lower denier not being so firm; I hadn't thought of that.

Dance tights. I buy convertible foot ones from Amazon after borrowing DDs one time. They are really supportive but are really comfortable as they are designed to move around in!

Also can't stand the cut in, because my waist is really high up. I really like Boots' fairly standard 100 denier, 2 pack tights. The key for me is to follow the size chart on the back for my clothing size and height.... And then get the next size up.
