Just been lured in by the adverts but has free returns if not satisfied.

Anyone tried it?

Thougt I'd update.

I have sent it back - I liked the colour and the fact it looked like I wasn't wearing anything but I found it didn't last all day a d by late afternoon, I was looking patchy.

Only sent it back yesterday so hopefully refund sorted OK, I'll update again if not.

They have an amazing marketing campaign going. I tried it and it was terrible on me. But like a pp said, they honoured the return policy. Similarly that Laura Gellar stuff, awful for me, they refunded me but asked me to pass the make up on. Gave it to Mum, she loves it.

Mm I've just seen the ad on twitter and got sucked in to the online test. I'd be mad to buy without trying though I think.

Very streaky and creased something awful around my smile lines and that was with major prep beforehand. It is quite thick as well. There are much better foundations out there.

JerkintheMerkin · 14/03/2024 17:22

LOVE the concealer though.

LivelyBlake · 14/03/2024 17:22

I like the coverage a lot. the finish is very natural on me. The colour however is slightly wrong - too yellow for me. I can still wear it, and I will do, but would not buy again until I can find a cooler shade that I'm happy with.

MonsteraMama · 14/03/2024 17:24

Their customer service is fantastic. My shade match was so orange first time and they replaced the bottle straight away no charge (I gave the more orangey one to my much more tanned sister so she got a freebie!).

They're very helpful and go out of their way for you, I also got a voucher which I used to get a lipstick.

Unfortunately I just couldn't get on with the formula at all, it was very drying on my skin and I always ended up with flakes. Not an issue I've had before!

Their lippies are great though!

I use it and find it a v good colour match and not cakey at all.

LOVE the concealer though.

Yeah me too, great stuff.

The foundation however, far too thick.

Opposite for me. It is so cakey.

I think it's a case of personal opinion. I agree it looks cakey but maybe what is cakey for us is not for others. I am yet to find a foundation (or concealer) that has great pigment but is not thick/cakey. And I don't have the patience to spot conceal every time I wear make up. So, instead, I don't wear much make up. I use MAC face & body which is light but is an improvement on bare skin.

Kelta · 14/03/2024 19:28

There are different formulations. I've tried two. One is very thin and separates. Its horrible, The other one is the party wear one and its really thick and obvious looking.

Their business model is based on people not bothering to claim the refund.

Yes. It is really worth it.

The subscription doesn't work for me though as I cannot and have never finished a foundation in 6 months.

The application brush was a MUST have for me (got it as a freebee).

Useless scam. They lure you with free products and you get debited £4.99 for delivery and £66 for the products which you won't see in the basket but after paying the delivery fee it appears in your account. There's no option to cancel the order. You can only return the order after 72 hours of placing the order
