Please can stylish ones recommend a nice dress to wear. My son and his gf are having a civil partnership in a registry office-very low key and small ceremony. Maybe 15 guests. They’ll have a wedding later on in her home country but want to buy a house first. I’d still like to find something nice to wear. I normally live in hiking gear or jeans/jumper/trainers. So dresses-I haven’t a clue. I’m 61, size 10 and 5ft4. A lot of dresses drown me length wise. I also don’t suit wrap dresses. I’d like high neck as my décolleté isn’t attractive anymore. I love Vampires Wife style but have about a tenth of the budget! I suit darker colours rather than pastels. Can anyone point me in the direction of brands to look?
