Doc Marten advice-comfiest styles for wide feet

I’m after replacing my old docs , have had basic army pairs back in the day but most recent were triumph calf length boots from eBay. All fit fine but just found a replacement pair and it seems the toe shapes have changed from round to more of an almond/ pointy shape . No good for my old reynauds feet! I would love any tips on the best styles for wide fitting foot shaped dmd for toes that like a bit of wiggle room please!

I have wide feet and find most docs are way too tight over bridge of my foor / pinch my toes.

I live in the 2960 chelsea boots, they are wide so my foot can stay in its natural shape rather than be squeezed in.

Thankyou , I hadn’t really looked at the Chelsea boot style as I though they would be narrow as they don’t lace up, I’ll have a look at that style, most if my friends have narrow feet so it’s hard to get advice.

I don’t find my docs massively comfortable apart from the Newtons which they don’t make any more. I certainly wouldn’t wear them on a day I had to do a lot of walking.

My Fly London boots are like slippers if you’re not determined to have DM’s

I haven’t really looked at the fly boots as I thought they were mainly wedge type styles and I’m crap at driving in heels , what would be the style you’d recommend? I like the sound of slippers all day 😀

I’ve got one of the wedge pairs that I’ve been wearing every winter for 6 years but I think people see as a bit dated now. I still wear mine because, like I said, slippers 🤣

I’ve also got these.

They’re both incredible comfortable, took no breaking in at all and seem much better quality than modern docs - better quality, softer leather and just generally nicer.
