Hi ggirl,

Funny you should post this today; I've just come on to MN now to ask for advice on products that do in fact help to clear up and close pores - since becoming preg mine seem to have errupted and nothing - not cleansing, steaming or deep treatment masks - seems to help.

So, did 'no pores' really do what it says on the outside of its v.expensive tin. Also, why did you choose that brand - where there products promising similar results you'd heard of?

Thanks

I was looking for a primer and the girl tried the no pores cream on me and a laura mercier primer.I chose the no pores becasue it felt and looked better.
I would recommend you go in there and get them to show you some different creams-there is no obligation to by at all.

Was this with your gift certificate? Were you the one with the gift certificate?

Did you book an appointment or just go in?

I have been poring (ha!) over the new catalogue this afternoon. Do you have oily or not so dry skin? I worry about anything making my face drier...

I'd guess that it's just a temporary fix, isn't it? I use a similar one from Clinique and it's great - makes your skin feel really smooth, and like you don't need foundation. There's a whole range of pore minimising products.

So can you use it instead of a primer? Is it better than the Laura Mercier primer? (I want a job on the Laura Mercier counter in Selfridges. If you work at Space NK we can swap freebies)

DarrellRivers · 23/03/2008 15:21

i have just swapped from my mac makeup to Laura Mercier primer and tinted moisturiser
It's fab

tharsheblows-yes it was me who had a voucher, and no I didn't make an appt, just walked in.I have combination skin.

cornsilk-it's slightly different to a primer in that it has a slight colour to it.A job in spacenk gets you access to all sorts of different products though...I really want one.

cod-what are you going to get?
