Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation - any one found a replacement?

I've just used up the last of my Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation and can't find a replacement. Gutted that it has been discontinued.

The counter staff recommended the newish tinted moisturiser instead but it's not really what I want. The Skin longwear foundation is too matt and full facey for me and I've never been a big fan of the serum foundation.

Has anybody found a decent replacement anywhere? I love a lightweight foundation that looks like my skin. I'm pale and normally use the cool ivory type colours in the Bobbi Brown range. Judging by the online reviews, I'm not the only one that doesn't understand why the skin foundation was discontinued!

I used to use skin foundation many years ago. I stopped when they discontinued the Alabaster colour. I switched to Lily Lolo mineral foundation.

I’ve found Kaur Mercier to have a nice silky and light feel.

I’ve recommended this a couple of times lately - chantecaille future skin foundation (I switched from Bobbi brown too) is the best lightweight foundation I’ve ever used-it’s not cheap but if you have a Space NK near you they’ll usually give you a sample big enough to try it for a few days and see what you think before committing. Their tinted moisturiser is lovely too.

L'Oréal True Match is really good, I'd try that instead.

Yeah agree with Chantecaille, sorry. They quite often have 20/25% discounts if you sign up to their mailing lists (but it's still pricey!)

Try the Nars light reflecting

but the one I really like for everyday if the Maybelline fit me in the dewy version
it’s sold online at superdrug

I like a lightweight foundation as well. Bourjois Healthy Mix is my favourite since they stopped doing Skin. I'm also pale with cool tones and the shade match is good - I think I'm rose ivoire or something like that.

Lots of suggestions to look at - thanks everyone. Hopefully one of them will suit me.

Like you I was disappointed they have discontinued this product too. I have now started using NARS Light reflecting foundation from MECCA. It's lightweight and the colour options are great.
(I tried the tinted moisturiser from Bobbi Brown but it separates on the skin and looks very shiny)

I'm new to this thread but read an article this morning about make up, foundation, talc and asbestos. I use a bobbi brown that appears to be talc free but other bobbi brown foundations are not. It's not the talc per se that's an issue but residues of asbestos in the talc and that measuring this is really tricky.

Just found this thread after searching for dupes for Skin foundation that was discontinued. On last drops of my last bottle, so gutted, does anyone have any updates ? I’ve been using L’Oréal Total Serum and have tried ester Lauder double wear but still haven’t found anything that comes close to Skin finish.

Dior Forever Hydra Nude has replaced BB for me, it’s even better. I experimented a lot and was disappointed with L’Oréal, Maybelline, Armani, Elf etc until I went to Dior and they matched me with this one.

I've still not got over the predecessor to their serum foundation, illuminating foundation I think it was called, it was so good. I now use Jones Road and I love it, but it won't work for anything other than dry skin in a dry climate I don't think.
