If you are short and dumpy where do you buy your jeans?

I am 5ft almost 2 and a 14/16 on the bottom, but I cannot find jeans that fit nicely, they are always far too long even when buying short or petite lengths, also it appears that some short length looking at you White Stuff don't shorten the rise in proportion so the crotch ends up near my knees, I live in Fatface 5 pocket jeggings in short but still have cut 3 inches off the bottom, but they don't come in a nice mid denim colour, and I. don't really want to spend £70 plus on a pair of jeans, so where do you buy yours?

Tesco. Can't remember the style name but I get the straight-leg ones with 2 buttons on the waist.

They come in various colours too, I have black, grey, dark denim and mid denim.

I'm 5'1 and a 16/18.

Levi's here too, there are loads of outlet shops and IIRC some shops do length adjustments

Hollister do jeans in a short length. Don't be put off by them pretending to be for teenagers...
The waist sizes come up big - my waist actually measures 26" but I had to buy 23" jeans so a couple of sizes bigger would probably do you 😊

5'1 size 18 and mattalan jeans fit me fine

New look have quite a wide range of jeans and they come in short, regular and tall. Online I've bought 26 and 28 inch jeans from them.

Mango is good for jeans. I’m 5ft 3.

I've bought from jeans from woolover, white stuff , fat face and (I think )seasalt.
Need to order online though as shops don't routinely stock shorter lengths.
Also 5ft1and size 14/16

I'm 5 ft 4 and a 14. Got some amazing shaper jeans from M&Co (ordered from next for £39). Much better I found than many far more expensive shaper equivalents!

Ive been every size from a 4 to a 14 but never managed to grow beyond 5'1" - always river island petite! ASOS are pretty good too

M&S Ivy or Lily jeans are good

Bonmarche do nice jeans in different styles and do a 27 inside leg. In store and on line. Changed from M&S to these.

5 foot nothing and a 14/16 - my jeans generally come from M&S, or I buy cropped from elsewhere and they end up full length. I've got some cropped wide leg Mango ones on today that are full length on me (actually a tad too long so might be just right for you). Otherwise I do turn ups. For those saying Levis, so they do larger waist sizes? I have avoided them since growing into a 14 in the 90s and not being able to get them over my hips...

@Colinfromaccounts24 I’m one of the pp’s who mentioned Levi’s. I’m a uk 6-8 and wear a 27 in Levi’s. They go up to a 32 waist which 5 sizes above me.

They now do a plus size range in jeans too. Although size 14 doesn’t sound plus sized to me! I’m sure you’ll find something that fits and flatters.

Im a size 16 at least and take a 33 waist in Levi's. To be fair the 720 series are pretty stretchy but I'd take a 33 in 501s too.

I buy Lands End 360 stretch jeans in petite size 16 ,28 " leg and I turn up slightly .
