I’m happy to buy perfume dupes and makeup dupes but that’s about it.

Perfume dupes from Next are good. Make up depends. I am still fairly happy with Rimmell or No 7. I’ve found over the years that if something works keep buying it rather than wasting time trying others. I am 53 though.

Same here. Perfume from Next and No7. Lipsticks in particular. And Boots own Q10 face cream (day and night).

Hotel collection candles from Aldi. Good Jo Malone dupes!

I didn't know that about Next, but found this if it's helpful:

https://smell-a-likes.com/brand/next

Will check them out next time I'm near.one !

That list has given me some ideas. It's a shame they're closing down all the next stores near me

Pretty much everything TBH!
I will spend money if its something i plan on still having and wearing/using 10-20 yrs from now but generally Im not a impressed by a fancy name!

Perfume parlour do great dupes! My favourite being their version of cacharel gloria. Aldi dupe of sanctuary Spa bubble bath is amazing. Aldi dupes are normally great in general. I used to have their version of Elizabeth arden beauty flash balm which was amazing but they didn't make it again!
Other perfume dupes I love..
Ibnu adam (arabian opulence)
Arabianperfumeoil.com
Jenny glow
Next
Yodyma
Verset

Perfume Parlour.

Missha Ampoule instead of Estée Lauder ANR.

Revolution and ELF are both excellent for dupes. Also Kiko.

Britpopbaby · 02/04/2024 21:46

I bought the Prism perfume travel size at Aldi which is meant to be a dupe and like it!

Aldi Ponegranate Noir dupe is gorgeous.

KeeeeeepDancing · 03/04/2024 03:27

Aldi is amazing. The dupe of Elizabeth Arden is actually better. The lip oil and hot cloth cleanser (Elemis) are better than the originals.

Moonshine5 · 03/04/2024 03:34

I did not find the Revolution cream to be a dupe of CT magic cream personally.

BrandNewBicep · 03/04/2024 08:55

Swapped from ABH Brow Wizz to NYX Micro Brow pencil which is cheaper and better.

deeahgwitch · 01/05/2025 08:01

I bought the Lidl dupe of L’occitane Shea Butter hand cream.
It’s called D’Avignon Hand Creme
It’s so good I have rebought it.
I still love my Palmers Coconut hand cream though.

ButtercupLane · 01/05/2025 08:07

Has anyone found a decent dupe for L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil?

Has anyone found a decent dupe for L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil?

Aldi do one. It’s not as nice though but the L’occitane one is expensive.
They also do a body cream dupe. It smells nice but the texture is different.

wintersgold · 02/05/2025 17:50

None - never felt like the supposed dupes were better than the originals, and I would rather pay a little more / buy less things than buy something second rate.
