Fragrance/aftershave for young man?

I've been asked to help my 17 year old daughter select a fragrance for her boyfriend for Valentine's Day. He is also 17.

Are there any in particular that are popular that could get us started?

The other option is to go to one of those shops where they do the dupes and you get to mix it up. But we'd still need a starting point!

They are typical college a level students. Relatively alternative.

She likes mugler Alien, Gucci Guilty and other similar things.

Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male elixir is what everyone is talking about on TikTok at the moment. DD’s boyfriend, who is 19, wears JPG Scandal. DS liked the smell of it so
much he’s bought some too.

My son is 16 and uses Valentino Born in Roma, they have several different ones, all quite nice. V popular where we are

My 14 year old son got Dior Sauvage and Paco Rabanne One Million for Christmas. I think the Sauvage is probably more popular with younger people but he liked the One Million because his dad wears it and gave him a little spray he got in a gift set.

My husband also has Boss Bottled, which I always thought was more popular with our age (mid 40’s) but it seems like the younger ones like it too.
