I've just bought this dress on Vinted

Planning to wear it for a trip with some girlfriends to Seville in early March. I'm going need to layer it as I think it'll be a little chilly in the evenings - what would I wear with this??? Hopeless at layering stylishly!

Cute dress. I think it’s crying out for a tiny, cropped suede jacket in some sort of tan colour. Maybe a fairly minimal bomber shape.

But I have no idea if that would be fashionable in Spain next Summer. And it might be too hot, even at night.

(A cardigan would have to be both very chunky and very cropped if not to ruin the flow of the dress.)

Maybe a bit cliched but a denim jacket springs to mind.

Maybe a light cotton jumper so that it looks like separates.

Thank you! Trip is in March so tan cropped jacket could work...

I wouldn't wear a cardigan. I'd get a very fine merino jumper to wear invisibly underneath, similar to thermals. John Smedley do them with elbow length sleeves and scoop necks and they disappear nicely under frocks.
