No advice re: hair but just had to say i LOVE that photo.

Carmenere · 21/03/2008 10:30

Get it a little bit trimmed and layerd around your face and grow it more.

Boco · 21/03/2008 10:35

I like your hair, it looks nice. But the hand face is a bit Magritte and will give me nightmares.

Anna8888 · 21/03/2008 10:44

Agree with Carmenere - grow it. It's still far too short

TheAntiFlounce · 21/03/2008 10:48

have a few choppy flicky layers put in

here

Pannacotta · 21/03/2008 10:50

Hard to suggest anything as cant obviously see your face shape in the pic and thats the most important thing to consider when chppsong a hairstyle IMO.

Cappuccino · 25/03/2008 09:16

ok face shape fair enough

have added new picture

ahundredtimes · 25/03/2008 09:27

I don't think you need to take it shorter do you? You look nice, behind that tree. Actually you look a bit like me, I think.

So on that narcisstic note, have some layers put in to give a bit of body, but grow a bit longer, to your collar? It looks fuller in the hand picture, and a few layers.

Cappuccino · 25/03/2008 09:34

I always look great behind trees

not so good in front of em

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 25/03/2008 09:39

You are a wood sprite.

What it is most like then, flat like the tree picture or full like the hand picture? It looks longer with the hand. I think some layers and blown dry under the chin and longer bits to put behind the ears will look nice.

Not that that is like my hair, oh no.

Cappuccino · 25/03/2008 09:53

full like hand picture

but when not washed for a day or two flat

also prone to tuck behind ears revealing massive 38-yr-old forehead

not good look

OP posts:
MascaraOHara · 25/03/2008 09:59

Get a funky chin length bob with a choppy/lsightly rock-chick fringe.. viola, perfect and no 38yo forehead.

ahundredtimes · 25/03/2008 10:02

[creases 39 y-o forehead in surprise]

Choppy! But do you want a fringe really? Your forehead looks fine.

Cappuccino · 25/03/2008 10:04

oh no really it is big

and wrinkly

I look like apotato with my hair behind my ears

I do wonder about a fringe

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 25/03/2008 10:07

You want a 'modern bob' then - choppy.

I had this haircut, but I found it a bit 'dramatic' for me. I looked like a demanding piano teacher, with smudged magenta lipstick and a bottle of gin in the piano stool.

But you won't. I'm sure. No.

Heathcliffscathy · 25/03/2008 10:07

grow it.

PestoMonster · 25/03/2008 10:10

What Ahundredtimes said.

Cappuccino · 25/03/2008 10:11

i guess if I have a modern bob and I don't ;like it I can get it cut short

but if I get it cut short I won't get chance to grow it again

hmm

OP posts:
PestoMonster · 25/03/2008 10:12

Don't get it cut short. Just do the choppy bob thing. You won't regret it
