Filler gets stuck in lymph channels?

I am currently thinking of getting filler in my under eye area and I have been informing myself of the various risks, pros and cons but today I came across this report on a study saying that filler gets stuck on the lymph channels with unknow consequences for our health and our faces.

Has anyone else seen this?

Watch the YT video by a cosmetic surgeon Gavin Chan: “Why I stopped filling tear troughs”.

@Mirabai I did see that one and I was weighing up if it was an acceptable risk, probably not but the double whammy of filler getting lodged in the lymphatic system and potentially being their for years and years is really disturbing!

There are alternatives - one is to use your own fat rather than filler. But I suspect that may move around just as filler does and I don’t know the long term effectiveness profile; and the other is surgery.

Personally I’d never use filler or Botox.
