If you had limited budget, which ones would you buy for 50 year old woth uneven toned skin but generally well hydrated?

I love Erborian. I use the CC Dull correct cream (the purple one) and the Red Correct (green) is great for dark under-eye circles and various blotches of redness. A little goes a long way. In summer when I want a bit more colour I go for the CC Dore. I've tried the BB cream but prefer a lighter more natural look. It just seems to even and enhance your skin tone without feeling heavy. Very worth the money IMO but try the 15ml first if you're unsure.

I love it too. Also 50 with relatively well hydrated skin and the CC clair just sits beautifully to subtly even out my skin tone. I also used the Red Correct when I had a bit of perioral dermatitis and it covered/corrected it without irritating. Spendy but worth it.

I've given up wearing foundation and just use the purple or normal CC creams, they feel so much nicer on my skin and look more natural.

A word of warning on the shades - I bought the CC crème in dore. I have olive/ golden toned skin that looks quite tanned.

The dore shade was so orange it was ridiculous, even on my skin.

Papyrophile · 31/01/2024 13:49

Agree with DuploTrain. The dore is orange on me too.

I love it. Have the grey one and the green one. Will be rebuying. Grey one is shade Clair. White, 50s, middle tone (not Celtic white but zero olive either).

CC cream and oddly, I have super pale skin but the Dore looks great on me and not orange at all. The light tones were way too pale.

LaCerbiatta · 31/01/2024 16:23

I love the cc cream but it's a real shame there are no more shades. I'm in between the light and the dore and need to mix them.... Have been using for a while but may not rebuy because of this.

lindyloo57 · 31/01/2024 17:44

I mix the cc clair and dore in winter, in summer I just use dore, I love it, I just brought the bb cream in the travel size in doir and like it too, it gives a little more coverage.

BB cream here. In Clair.
It's a medium coverage foundation and is just beautiful.
You can buy a 15ml tube to try and mine lasted a good couple of months.

I tried the redness cc cream and thought it was great- just slightly orange on my very fair skin. I’ve also tried the bb creams in nude and clair but didn’t think much of them. You can get pouches of samples from the Erborian website for £6 if that’s of interest.
