What order (I know I have asked this before!) for morning skin care regime but am confused:

  1. Vit C serum
  2. Eye cream
  3. Moisturiser
  4. SPF 50
  5. CC or BB cream/foundation

I'm a this correct? This is what I have always done.

Yes that's right 😊 which bit are you confused on?

I put my spf on first before anything else

I have a spray spf from body shop that goes over make up

Your order is correct, the best way to think about it, is what purpose the product you are applying is serving, and the consistency of the product, thinnest to thickest.

For example:

  • Vitamin c, for pigmentation and antioxidant benefits I.e active skincare, goes first so it doesn't have to fight it's way through layers of other product to penetrate your skin.
  • Moisturiser (self explanatory) locks in hydration.
  • Spf for sun protection so should be the last step in your skin care routine so as not to dilute the efficacy.
  • Bb cream/foundation, to even out tone etc.

Note I wait about 10 minutes after applying my spf before putting on any tinted products so it's fully absorbed

Yes, that’s correct.

can you apply a sufficient amount of sunscreen without any pilling? if yes: seems like a good skincare routine 👍
