Clarins Blue Orchid Oil - Frangrance

Can anyone help?

I love the smell of Clarins Blue Orchid Face Oil. I would love to but it as a perfume or something similar.

Does anyone know if anything similar or what the dominant notes are so I can shop around?

Patchouli, mostly.

Yep, patchouli seems to be the dominant note to me.

Patchouli, Orchid (Vanilla), Citrus and a light floral like Lotus, perhaps?

Are there any perfumes you can suggest that are at all similar?

I find it so calming. It reminds me of the scent that is often in spas and massage rooms.

Go on the Fragantica website and look for the ‘perfume finder’ page. You can search by the note and it’ll give patchouli suggestions for you.

@Brainworm - if you like light fragrances, try “Eau des Jardins” - Clarins by Clarins. This has a combination of these fragrances (with others) and it’s fresh and clean with that sexier under current. A sexier and much more expensive fragrance to suggest would be “Patchouli Ardent” - Guerlain that would be the night time or big office meeting fragrance with similar notes. (Not a slam in the face by any means.) These are what I would suggest for most frequent use… (plus prettiest bottles - bonus!) Wild Vanilla Orchid - Floral Street and “Midnight Fleur” - Nest

Just realised that the Nest fragrance I suggested above was discontinued. (Thought I would buy it myself.) Meanwhile, they sell rollerballs of Fragrance Oils that last for AGES! I think you could be very happy with mixing these two… You would get whiffs of all parts of the fragrance you are looking for.

@Brainworm - worked in the industry for years. (A while ago, though… there are probably more recent fragrances that I am unaware of too.) I am basically a bloodhound and would dearly love to be a fragrance “nose” but the course in France is out of my league.
