Best face cream/moisturiser and foundation for sensitive skin/eczema ?

I spend a lot of time outdoors which makes my skin really sore this time of year, especially around my eyes due to my eyes running. I usually buy my face cream from Aldi as it seems to be the only thing that doesn’t sting my skin, have tried a few no 7 and Nivea creams but they make my skin sting. Also tried a different foundation from no 7 and felt like my face was on fire. I only wear foundation a couple times a week, usually to cover up the sore skin around my eyes.

The Aldi face cream is great but I feel I need something a bit better as I’m now 40+, maybe something with more natural ingredients so that my skin doesn’t feel like it’s on fire?

Any recommendations for both face creams and foundation, ideally not costing too much?

As somebody who has skin allergies, plus periods of eczema and/or psoriasis around my eyes, I'm always very careful with what I use.
However, I am now a massive fan of Bold Natural Soap's whipped face butters. I have the aloe one, and it's amazing. It feels thick and quite greasy going on, but melts into your face so quickly. It's amazing under makeup, smells nice (I usually have to avoid anything scented due to allergies, but this is all natural) and just makes my skin glow. Honestly it's been a game changer.
Prior to this, I've been using Aveeno and The Ordinary moisturiser for many years, which were good but I'm preferring this right now.

Not sure how to do the link thing on my phone but here it is

Thank you. I have ordered some to try. I don’t mind about my face feeling greasy, everything else seems to make it really dry so I think greasy is probably a good sign that it’s adding moisture. Great price too.

Avène Cicalfate! Best moisturiser ever for dry/sensitive skin. Literally calms it down overnight - miracle stuff!

Loving the face butter, have had it 2 days (super fast postage) and the skin around my eyes is no longer dry, also noticed how soft my hands are so I have started putting it in the eczema on my fingers, shame they don’t do an actual hand cream. It is a bit greasy so I have been putting it in at night.

Glad you like it, I'm still loving it too.
Which did you get?

I got the one with camomile, it has a very slight smell to it but much better than chemical smells of other face creams. I will try the aloe one next time 😊, I might try their soaps too.

Really interested in this. Thanks for sharing. What does the aloe one smell like. I'm trying to decide between Rose and Aloe but I have a real thing about smells and it can put me off something completely if it's not quite right (or make me love something if the smell works for me)

@Lovemusic82 i love their soaps, been using them for years, but this is the first time I’ve tried the face butter.
I’m currently on the coffee soap 😍 but the honey and oat one is amazing for sensitive skin, really gentle.
@LondonMummer I’m struggling to describe it, I’ll go and use it now and try to figure it out. But as pp said, it’s definitely a refreshing change from chemical smells/ fake scents

@LondonMummer I forgot to report back, sorry. It smells like Vicks 😂 which makes sense I guess as it has eucalyptus in it. Sounds weird, but it's not, it's really nice. Obviously it has prickly pear and aloe in it too so it's not exactly like rubbing Vicks on your face....

Thank you for reporting back. Freaking out a little now as I ordered it yesterday and now thinking I should have ordered the Rose one - but if it's too 'vicksy' maybe I'll give it to my husband and order another! You did a very convincing sell on it

@LondonMummer I love it! Smells so fresh. 'Vicks' is probably being a bit dramatic
