Just that, please! I'm going on an organised trip with people I've not met before and don't really have many summer clothes... What would you take? We'll be travelling about - some walking, the train through the jungle, visit to a tea/spice plantation - with some chill and beach time.

Big problem - I hate my upper arms and legs! I lost a lot of weight and my skin there is saggy 😥So I need full length bottoms and I can't do strappy tops.

Any suggestions of a capsule wardrobe appreciated and also where to go for it. Very few summer clothes in shops! Going in a month.

Usual style is Cos basics, animal prints, wide leg cropped jeans, large oversized knits, DMs... I'd still like to look stylish but summer style!

You will get away with wearing bottoms more than once before washing but not tops as you will get very sweaty. I actually buy a lot of clothes on amazon and have been happy with the vast majority

We honeymooned there and travelled across the island in April. You'll need
lightweight clothing with sleeves and to the ankles to prevent mosquito bites regardless.
Palazzo pants are a good bet.
Have you had a look at vinted?

How about something like these trousers and then you can get a couple of plain loose shirts ? These are Next and New Look. I know the blue looks a bit like PJs but can see you getting loads of wear out of it.

Really like that black/brown set, thank you!

Will look on Vinted though find it very hit and miss.

Guess I just need a list. X trousers, X tops and sit down and spend some time looking....

I went on a tour in Cambodia and Vietnam last year and wore cotton trousers with elasticated ankles a lot with various tops that covered my shoulders. I found separates best for during the day.
I also wore lightweight culottes.
You could plan your clothes around a few colours so you can mix and match more. I had a blue capsule and a khaki one.
Also think about your day time bag and water bottle strategy and take a couple of pairs of shoes in case one pair starts to rub if your feet swell in the heat.

I picked up dead cheap cotton harem trousers in Sri Lanka.
Or have a look online if you won't have time or inclination for shops/markets.
Pair them with long sleeved cotton tee shirts and a big straw hat.

Sounds lovely OP!

My most worn item on these types of trips are lightweight cotton/linen trousers e.g. something like these Lovall trousers (in a few colours).

I also like lightweight coverups like these:

I'd also bring a nice lightweight scarf (in case I need to cover up any further if visiting religious sites) or to smarten up an evening outfit

I'd always bring a fleece and lightweight jeans (cold nights, fierce aircon etc.) even when going somewhere hot.

Other bits: sun hat, sunglasses, bikini, tankini (for less confident days), beach tunic, leggings, shorts, vest tops, cardigan, maxi/midi dress, havaianas, smart pumps/sandals, trainers (or hiking trainers).

For travelling I REALLY recommend the free people 'bay to breakers trousers' in khaki. Perfect travelling trousers - nice and light and airy, dropped crotch, useful pockets.
