Right, in very unusualy fashion for me, I saw it, tried it on and brought it.

Top layer is black and pink but the pink underlayer makes the dress look burgandyish.

The pink is like a dark baby pink i'd say.

So, what do i wear on my feet and what bag ?

Pic in profile by the way.

then wear ballet flats with it and a little cardie, dress it down a bit. i have the fear of dressy and usually end up doing this anyway (so always wear boots with dresses).

Don't like any of the shoes sorry, how about a strappy sandal. Agree dress may be too formal , sorry, v nice though. You might be better adding dressy accessories ot something mroe casual.

you'll look gorgeous - maybe wear it with flat shoes and cute little cardigan if you;re worried about it being too dressy.
come on, you won't care what you're wearing after a few drinks, eh?
enjoy!

there look we are agreeing. forgot to say, that is a really lovely dress and i will be v cross if you don't wear it.

x-posts with fishie!
i do that, too - flat boots which anything however (for me) dressy reins it in a bit..

sorry, NOT so good had to say it twice...

CrackerOfNuts · 20/03/2008 17:48

Not sure flats will look right. I am only 5'2 so look a bit dumpy indresses with flats.

no you will just look neat.

that sounds like me refusing to wear heels because i am 5'5.

Jane68 · 20/03/2008 22:43

Go for maroon or pink strappy sandals and a delicate bag. I wouldn't go for black too boring. Pretty frock, work it.

Pannacotta · 20/03/2008 22:43

I agree with fishie, I'd wear it with ballet pumps and a shrug to dress it down a bit, or low kitten heel slingbacks.
